This year’s Strawberry Afternoon Tea offers an array of strawberry-inspired sweets, along with savory Mediterranean dishes infused with Japanese ingredients and seasonings, adding a playful twist from our chef. Enjoy strawberry-themed creations that showcase the pâtissier’s creativity, such as the “Strawberry Mousse and Cheesecake with Cardamom,” which combines Gallery 11's signature Basque-style cheesecake with strawberry mousse and a hint of cardamom. Or try the “Strawberry Guimauve Chocolate Bonbon with Pink Pepper,” featuring a unique texture that combines marshmallow and chocolate with an accent of pink pepper. Delight in these strawberry sweets, thoughtfully crafted with our pâtissier’s creative flair.
The savory menu includes “Caramelized Pork Ribs and Vegetable Bao,” inspired by Shibuya street food, featuring sesame-accented pork ribs marinated in miso for a neighborhood-inspired taste. The “Spicy Cod Roe, Umeboshi, and Shiso Scrambled Eggs with Uni” offers a creamy texture from the combination of cod roe, sea urchin, and eggs, allowing you to enjoy a blend of diverse flavors. Another highlight is our chef’s creation, “Hamachi with Red Wine Glaze, Carrot Mousse, and Cumin,” where seasonal yellowtail is finished with a red wine glaze subtly infused with cinnamon and nutmeg, evoking the festive warmth of Mediterranean mulled wine.
Additionally, from December 20th (Friday) to December 25th (Wednesday), we will be offering a special Christmas-themed Strawberry Afternoon Tea, featuring desserts decorated in a festive holiday style.
